Going to the eye doctor soon…even though some of what they do is akin to medieval torture…

I thought the puffs of air and the drops were bad. And then they stuck a needle in my eye to inject a medicine they cheerfully told me had been developed originally for anal tumors, and said I might need it every 6 months or so to keep the veins to the eyes from occluding as they were. But amazingly, one shot did it and the needle was no big thing (except for the thought of it) after the drops had numbed the eye.

@dancingtongue Glad it wasn't too bad for you and you only had to have it done one time.

@Rutterman Did require follow-up laser treatment to kill off the additional veins the body was growing to circumvent the occlusion that no longer was there. But again, the drops to dilate and numb the eye were the worse part.
