Have any of you been told that they shouldn't go to work or play?

I have been told that I shouldn't do things. I am disabled with M.S and chronic migraines. I want to do stuff. I want to do constructive things and play paintball and have a job. To those who don't get it. Imagine being in a cage that moves with you. You can't use your hands. It's a bunch of BS. The grass is not greener on this side the fence...it's just different.

Spent four years in bedrest as a child because of Rheumatic Fever. Docs didn't trust those new fangled antibiotics. Felt perfectly fine, but told too much exertion could do damage to the heart. It is challenging.

Yes, although they didn't need to tell me. I have continued to try. The last 12 years have been difficult on my mind. I have continued to try to live beyond my physical means. My issues are balance equilibrium and fine motor skills due to strokes. I was able to get around with a cane for years and continued to run my business. Ny partners eventually pushed me out. i lost everything and ended up on the verge of homelessness. The one that I feel bad for is my wife. She takes care of me. I'm sure this is not what she signed up for but she refuses to leave me. 38 years, 3 kids and 8 grandchildren and we keep going. Real love still exists!

People say all kinds of nasty things to others. Just look at any political or religious discussion.

The fact that they are saying anything against you, can only go against them for criticizing you. They are only thinking about nothing but themselves.

Do and experience whatever you wish. Your limits are only up to yourself not others.

When you quit doing things, you quit living. My wife has been a nurse doing geriatric care for over 30 years. The old folks come to the home and if they aren't active, they start to die. Whatever activity you are comfortable with and enjoy, you should continue to do it, maybe at a slower pace but enjoy life while you can.

The more you do, the more you CAN do.
