Just my opinion here on some COVID procedures.

I've read on here about some countries going back into lockdown, and I don't feel like that should be necessary at this point. Lockdowns were what we did at the beginning, when we didn't have the tools to fight the virus. Since we have the tools we need to fight the virus, I feel like lockdowns would be a step backwards, not forwards at this point.

I hope this doesn't raise too much controversy 😆.

Of course it's a step backwards. And there's a reason for it. We've been handed a magic wand in the form of free, effective vaccines. And it's not being taken advantage of or, even worse, they're not getting to where they need to be. We are a weak species. Viruses like this are more powerful than we are. If we don't adapt then people will die unnecessarily. It is what it is. Personally, I've lost all empathy for those who refuse to adapt and do the right thing. Actions have consequences. My thoughts are on healthcare workers and all workers who are forced to be put at risk. If a lockdown helps them then lock it down as far as I'm concerned.
