instead of paying for takeaways, I choose to dine out, now that's a treat

Hmm. I can't say I am any more logical. $26.00 for take out, with TIP...seems cheap to me...I am used to $73.00 for Chinese takeout...(I always over-order rice and meats and heat them for leftovers).

If I were paying $67.00 for groceries, I would be delighted with my own frugality...because I am delighted with my frugality if I spend $100 with TIP for the Instacart delivery people.

Maybe because it hurts to pay bigger amounts at once rather than get poked little by little over time

I think we justify rewarding ourselves... Which may be a good thing if kept in check 🤔

Perhaps you could cut it down to once a week on a certain day?
