Fitbit cheating

I have a friend who wears his fitbit on his dominant hand. When we were at dinner last weekend he confided to me that the reason he does this is because he gets extra steps for ... um ... well you know. Should I believe him? Would that even work? If so then is it cheating?

Sometimes I just feel so naive. 馃槓

Yes, it works. I use to have a health insurance policy that would pay up to $3/day if you reached 3 separate goals.
People in the company would just take it off their wrist and shake the Fitbit back and forth to help reach those daily goals.

@Teslin Where's the fun in that?

@irishmolly72 It's all about getting some cash back from expensive insurance!!
