Killing off wild predators is a stupid idea

Some vegans suggested awhile back that killing off predators is a good idea lmao, that would be so bad. It would upset the ecological system so badly that prey animals would go extinct. Yes the vegan actually said that obligate carnivores like predators are akin to serial killers. Scary people like this exist 😱

Not any collection of vegans or activist group. Two authors.

Amanda MacAskill and William MacAskill, are — respectively — a philosophy Ph.D. student at New York University and an associate professor of philosophy at Lincoln College, part of Oxford University.

Two people hardly a quorum make.

@Graylight I didn't say it was all vegans. This is about "some" vegans. Thanks for adding onto my post with the obvious though, it helps with the others who'll come on this post to make obvious statements. I'll just point them in your direction. Save me time and energy of having to overly explain every single detail.

@SatanBurger I don't play the obfuscation game. Some means more than two. Some implies a group. Some implies agreement on a concept or truth or plan. This is two people who got together and wrote an article.

@Graylight In your book some means more than two but I'm talking about the article only. But you know my thoughts more than me, I'll let you think you're that important if it makes you feel better.

This is two people who got together and wrote an article.

Thanks for stating the obvious again, couldn't do it without you 🤗

@SatanBurger Again, you assume it's stating the obvious because you can't appreciate the subtlety. Or you can and you're simply a troll.

Either way, vegans as a group don't believe in exterminating predatory species. That was your point, wasn't it?

My point was exactly the title of my post and the title of the news story, Killing off wild predators is a stupid idea. Honestly, you're making this more complicated, it's a pretty clear article. There's nothing to argue about, you're just trying to find small stuff to argue about because you have this need for some reason.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@SatanBurger No, the point is simple. You're trying to begin an 'alarming' discussion by showcasing one outsider opinion and giving it more credence than it deserves.

Done blame me if you're English is imperfect.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Graylight In your own head is what you think my point was but you're not me. I thought it was stupid a few people said that and I posted about my opinion. You act like this is more complicated than what it is.

Done blame me if you're English is imperfect.

*Don't or *Do not, both are sufficient.

"You're" should be "your" as the sentence you are English is imperfect makes no sense.

@SatanBurger Blame autocorrect for spelling errors. For not understanding how to comprehensively and authentically structure a debate point, that's on you.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Graylight If you're going to criticize my spelling, try not to be lazy.

Telling me what you think my point was isn't a debate. This is a little one sided as you seem to be mostly having it with yourself.

Now if you want to stay on the topic of whether killing predators is right or not, that would be an appropriate debate. Even though I have my facts for why it would be really bad and most likely win.
