Has anyone on here ever gotten a shave at a barbershop where they used a straight razor?

I'm suspecting that anyplace that requires training in that is corrupt.

Yes, it was common at one time. I had my beard completely shaved off in that way back in the 80s as I couldn't bring myself to do it after 12 years or so.
