Has anyone on here ever gotten a shave at a barbershop where they used a straight razor?

Yes, it was common at one time. I had my beard completely shaved off in that way back in the 80s as I couldn't bring myself to do it after 12 years or so.

I've gotten a haircut at a barbershop where the guy used a straight razor on my sideburns and around the back, but I didn't get a full shave. 🤔
