Because us men love women and we love women with nice hair. I know I do. The more a woman takes care of her hair the more I feel she will take care of herself as well.
Usually when I see a woman with a rat nest of a hair do, she is usually living a bad life on drugs and or alcohol or both. I am not into unkept hair or unkept women myself.
And when I dress as a woman, I want my hair (Wig) looking it's best.

For myself, after turning 50. (I picked 50 because that seemed like everything started to change all at once) That's about the time my hair started thining and falling out. Until then I had full head long locks of long gorgeous hair.

@HumanEarth Yes, it does especially when you lived a full and hard life like I have. All those injuries and surgeries (12) major ones make it just a little harder to do what we used to do without much thought.

I love my hair. It's a visible part of some kind of story, the length, and when the wind blows them I just feel freedom
