What would you rather do to your hair? Dye it? Perm it? Trying to maintain chemically treated hair? Or grow out your virgin hair and take care of it

With oils and masks and grow it stronger and longer and healthier and shinier?

I have dyed my naturally curly hair since 7th grade. I like my new gray roots, so gonna let it grow. Although I am thinking of having a colorist blend my gray with the rest of my hair so it looks better.
