Why is hair in certain places unattractive of offensive even?

I think it's hair removal companies brain washing us but I'd like to hear the reasoning of people who find it unattractive or offensive.

while many disagree, i totally dislike any hair in the genitalia area .. for both sexes .. it's just cleaner and better without.

@SW-User this is true but by that token what about leg hair, arm hair and even the hair on our head. It'd all be cleaner without hair?
