i hate going to the gym, but... what, what can i do

i have to go gym to lose weight, keep my fitness up and manage my type 2 diabetes...but i'm really not very sociable, in fact, i'm quite antisocial, i don't like too many people in general, and have a personality disorder.

i don't like the way other men get too near to me in the locker rooms, and over hearing their conversations and putting up with them laughing acting clownish and loudmouthed, taking the piss out of each other......because of my personality disorder i take everything personal, especially this, what these young guys do.

i'm not used to interacting with people, and i am quick to take offence, that is why i hate going to the gym...i only go there to swim for an hour, but it's such hard work for me to go there....i'd rather stay at home, but i can't because if i do, i will get unhealthy....so what can i do?

Forget the gym and go for long walks. Any movement is good.
