Would you buy a cheap treadmill or a gym membership?

I need to start exercising more, and I like the idea of being able to stay in my house to do it... so I can't use bad weather or gas, time or people as excuses...

But home equipment is more expensive, gym membership would be cheaper, but I feel like I'll use that as an excuse.

Also, I've moved to a new location, and don't know the gyms here... I don't even know if the local gym has free parking in the back or only limited metered street parking...

Planet Fitness would be half the price, but twice the distance... and I just don't like all the bright purple... like it's off putting to me for some reason.

Why would you fork out money on a gym when most exercise you can do at home bar weights but you can also invest in those. It'll save a lot of money in the long run.

I suggest a personal trainer bud. Theyll also push you and keep you motivated. You lack motivation from what I gather and procrastinate a lot so don't waste your money on gyms

Yup :(

I think that's even more money, and I think most trainers work out of gyms... at least here.

Well, because it's cheaper than buying aerobic equipment, doesn't take up any space at the house, they have more options and things like personal trainers, and let's one work out, while not being I'm bad weather, like snow, ice, cold, etc.
