@PUBGGuy idk lol everyone always has but i guess im used to it so i just laugh with but sometimes it annoys me bc no one believes when i tell them the story behind and its actually my middle name but i go by Faith bc my other name is for when im in trouble

@Faith04 lol get in trouble alot then? Jk well I understand that micro aggression it's like when someone finds out im a native American and tell me they're grandmother was a Cherokee or some tribal princess lol. I usually just smile but it does annoy me every so often.

@Faith04 ha there's nothing wrong with being a native American but when non natives tell me their life story about being native. It turns into this, are you native because you were raised in the culture or because blood quantum issue.

@Faith04 yeah in my opinion, the culture being in the culture is what makes you native. If I ever have adopt a daughter if she has black skin or white skin or red hair or Asian eyes it does matter. She will be a Diné. A Navajo. She will learn the language and in my eyes not through blood but experience. She will be 100% Diné.

@PUBGGuy yes and it doesnt matter what u look like on the outside its whats on the inside that matters and no one really understand that anymore and to me Navajo's are the nicest people and no matter what as long as she knows who her family is

@Faith04 awe your so sweet. Yeah thats how I see things. Ha it's not a popular idea as of lately as everyone wants to say I'm at least a quarter or half or even 100% but... Ha the culture the language the songs the fireplace... That's what makes the culture.

Oh okay ha, well I mean all over the world... Meeting people with indigenous backgrounds is great but when you meet someone that says they go by blood quantum it's disheartening that's what they consider qualifying. What tribe is your brother in law?
