Do you ever get scared when you interact with teenagers? They remind me strongly of my mortality.

Because to them life is just beginning they have a long life ahead of them and they remind me that I’m nowhere near such a long life, I’m in the middle or even near the end. I don’t have kids, but if I did, I would probably freak out when they were teenagers. They think so differently than us, they don’t completely follow societies conventions yet, they’re like wild. And it freaks me out. Because I remember being that age. And it just really reminds me that I’m getting old. I never really think about it otherwise.

Todays teenagers are wilder than we were.

Covid taught them that rules can broken and changed.
The Internet is teaching them their rights.

Unlike we were... they are fully up to date with where they stand and what power and freedom it brings with it.

Plus, the future is bleak for them. There is no viable job career, or doable home loan in their sights.

Government has made their generation, in general, a poor one . They feel they have been left nothing.

So.... they dont give a shit.

About anything except themselves.

Its really sad. They see no future so they see no reason to try😥
