I Am Not a Typical Teenager

I'm not like this messed up version of a generation I am in >->

Yeah tell me about, and it isn't just "this generation" Our world as we know it is changing around us, because humanity refuses to stay the same, if we would stop caring what other people think about us, then i'm sure a lot of people would be better off... although we are far more concerned about other things, it just depends on the type of person you are, though if you think about it in another way, How can you say you aren't like your generation? in order for you to change into something or someone else, you have to have in you first, don't you?

Identity vs. Role confusion

no this generation is absolutely stupid in how they dress, what they think is 'cool', by letting the internet control their life and not even knowing how to spell correctly anymore. Eg; 'U' instead of 'you'

Yes, sadly I will admit that I use to just go with the flow and be like everyone else and then I woke up to myself and realised (with a little help) that this world is rotting from the youngest, I can understand with older people not knowing how to spell so they use 'text talk' (eg. my dad) but when it's a 3 year old already knowing how to work a phone as much as any teenager then that's just asking for trouble.

Read the work of Erik Erikson; The Stages of Psychosocial Development. There is a description for the teen years that you might find interesting.

But I will admit that role confusion could be apart of it, on another note I don't see how someone can be confused with their identity

that's true, the smartphones are making this world too easy and everyone's getting lazy
