I Am a Teenager

I am 18. I think a lot of people think teenagers know nothing. And maybe we don’t. But I am female and entitled to vote. For less than a century. Women over 30 were allowed to vote in 1918. And please let the people decide on Brexit. Cameron gave us the vote. But now we know the facts. Common sense says Second Referendum after time to consider.

I thought they already took a popular vote?

@Hepsie 49< 50 but still I see your point. I don't live there so obviously I do not understand all of the issues. For a while I did wonder if the EU would not find a way to eventually combine as the separate sovereign states of the United States eventually did. Who knows? Maybe they someday will in spite of everything

And a lot of the 51 per cent have died. And we have a new set of voters. Who were 16 or 17! Cameron. One of the Prime Ministers whom time forgot!

@Hepsie UK politics has often puzzled me. Tony Blair's foreign policy often seemed to be "whatever the Americans are doing will be fine" .. OK as an American it did not bother me much but I still sometimes thought that if I lived in England my blood would boil ... but like I say I am confessing ignorance here I don't live there so I don't really understand

We live there. The referundum was an election thing. He thought we would all vote remain. I never seen a captain jump ship so quick. [@
GoodoldBob
]

If it helps any, here in the U.S. we had to choose between a criminal and an idiot and Heaven help us we elected the idiot. All democracies share this burden I suppose - we do our best and say our prayers
