SW and Vent are polar opposites in a lot of regards.

On SW, I meet retarded far-right "conservative" (not really conservative) dumb asses. On Vent, I meet equally retarded far-left "liberal" (not really liberal) dumb asses. I keep running into blowhard anti-abortionist Muslim-hating gay-marriage-opposing school-privatizing crusaders on SW who wanna nuke the entire Middle East and abolish public school in favor of raising children to be redneck assed farmers with a bunch of guns. On Vent, it's the brainless pegheads who support shit like Affirmative Action and want to recognize 87 different genders and fight "social norms" and "social constructs" and say that doctors are criminals needing to be jailed for identifying a baby based on its genitals. They drone on and on about respecting their pronouns and labeling their trigger warnings and support the fat acceptance movement. Sometimes I wonder how I haven't gone completely mental from using both sites.

@MartinII: Oh yeah, there's lots of leftists on SW. But they're not obnoxious loudmouths who screech all over the place like the rightists here are. Same with Vent, there's plenty of rightist there but they're quiet, and the extreme leftists aren't.

@MartinII: Just a few hours ago I was talking with a guy who identifies as being an "ultra-conservative" who openly admits he only cares about American lives (his own words, not mine) and that he thinks it's perfectly alright to drop nukes on any country which is a threat to the United States. He also claims that the USA won World War Two by itself and that the Russians and British contributed very little to the effort to stop the Nazis. He even said "Russia would have been overrun and conquered by Nazi Germany had the United States not stepped in." Which goes to show he is an uneducated imbecile.

My favorite part was when an actual Russian started replying and he made mention that he's visited Russia. When she asked where, he said Kiev. Fucking...Kiev. Which isn't in Russia...
