No, but just answer questions and post stories on a regular basis and you will earn quite a bit of coins.

heart things as well I have 107,000 coins and I haven't done much but ask questions and heart people's answers. I occasionally write a story too.

As of right now there is no way to buy coins but I'm not sure if there will be a way to buy coins in the future.
