We've just applied important security updates to protect SimilarWorlds against a newly discovered threat affecting websites across the internet. 👌🥳
For the more technical details:
A set of critical vulnerabilities known as php2shell was recently discovered in PHP, potentially allowing attackers to execute malicious code on affected servers. The PHP team released security fixes today, and we've already updated SimilarWorlds to the patched versions.
One more thing: This Saturday (October 24), we'll also be installing the latest operating system updates on our servers. This may cause approximately 15 minutes of downtime.
