There are plenty of catfish & trolls here who will DM you in hopes of getting a reply. What I usually do is ignore the message and "archive" it (one of the options in the '3 bars' icon for DMs).
The way the rules work here on SW is a sender can send someone one private DM message, and if they reply the sender can keep sending more. If they don't reply, that's it, quota filled. So if you, the recipient, ignore and archive an initial message, you don't ever have to hear from that sender again over DM.

I figured it would have been a text. But yeah when we get we*rd texts with stuff, we should not respond cause then they know they have an active number.
