When you have a joint account both your blocks as well as those who have blocked you is joined.
I do believe it was intended to eventually have other things shared like followers and friends. Yet I'm uncertain if that ever happened.
This site likes to start new features yet rarely ever completes the full feature. Eg. The group moderators feature was never completed or the SW coin features.
Email simply isn't applicable to any though. You can't email anyone on this site directly.

@DeWayfarer that would even notice that that's a good feature

@Stevenneedsdiscipline Lots of talk went on during the early days of this site, that was never implemented. Some of my ideas were though.

@DeWayfarer oh I'm sure at the end of the day they probably just went for the easiest route even if it wasn't the most effective
Yes.

In my opinion it only seems useful to asshats, scammers and catfishes.
I'm not sure why that option exists.
On FB i use 2 different emails for 2 different accounts.
The ONLY thing I use my secondary account for is so that I can view my primary account and see my primary account page the way any Non-Friend would see it.
My second account has no friends and doesn't follow anything.
Despite FB sending it 10 notifications a day to try and convince me to use it.
I'm not sure why that option exists here.
Don't know how it works or if accounts here can be multiplied with a single email ?
In addendum: My secondary email is the one I use when I think something is off in an online space, or likely to send me unwanted spam.

@HikingMan Thanks... that's exactly why I was asking about it. 🤔

@PanDemonium My comment here is true, but partially so I can see other replies that may explain it.
Is there any way to press an Admin for a direct reply?

You can only have one account per email so if you want multiple accounts you have to have multiple emails but yes the same person can have multiple different accounts.

you can make lots of accounts, some people here have 5 or more, simple use a throw away email, and make as many accounts as you want

I suspect the purpose was for parents and legal guardians to be able to monitor their children’s activity. But yes a single user can have multiple user accounts. I use my two in order to respond more quickly to my own posts as an expression of inner dialogue. I find it productive.

idk apparently some people have multiple accounts
PanDemonium · 36-40, MNew
@GoFish Okay... that seems odd. I think most platforms specifically make it so users can't have multiple accounts.
GoFish · 41-45, F
@PanDemonium pretty sure all platforms have people with mutual accounts eh

I suspect it might have been a feature with iOrbix users in mind - so they're could no multiple accounts for their roleplay characters? But that's just speculation. Last I heard they really didn't want people having multiple accounts, so it's either from other users folding in or they just decided they didn't dislike it after all.
