Someone chased me rn

I got home from work. And i have my bike. I get to the stairs. And on the opposite side of the apartment buildings a man on the other side of the stairs. I mean across the parking lot. And he starts running towards me. I pick up my bike and go up the stairs. And as soon as i got to my door he stops at the top of the stairs and stares at me. And then pretends to go in the laundryroom. My bf checked the laundryroom. There were no clothes or anything being washed or dried. He had no basket. I think he was planning to attack me or rob me. My bf gave me his knife and i have my pepper spray in my side of my backpack. But he now knows where i live. I am very paranoid. I mean he ran at me full speed and i knew right then and there i had to move and get up those stairs.
