Is there a way to pin comments?

Like, can I make a comment stay at the top of the page without giving it best comment?

Top | New | Old

The only thing I’ve seen is people who pin their own reply to their own post, wanting it at the top usually for clarification purposes. I’ve never seen another person’s response pinned.

@OlderSometimesWiser that's what I want to use it for, but I don't have the option to do so. It's probably a VIP feature :(

@KiwiDan Not that I can see. It’s not on the list of VIP features. (If you want, you can double check the list without having VIP.) I don’t really post so unfortunately I can’t be of more help but there’s got to be a non-VIP way. I’ll keep an eye out next time I see it and ask the OP.

Next to the comment, bottom rh corner is a thumb pin (drawing pin) symbol. Touch that and you’re done.

@KiwiDan I’ve confused ‘post’ and ‘comment’, sorry. I wonder if pinning comments is only for those who have VIP? Let me check.

@KiwiDan Having looked at my profile, I can see how I can pin posts so they always appear at the top, but I can’t see how to pin a comment. I know it can be done because I’ve seen them on other peoples posts. I’m sure someone else might be able to help but I’ll keep looking.
