If the admins don't change either the CSS selectors or somehow inhibit the use of browser extensions, the solution is a little more involved, but if you're viewing SW in a normal browser on a laptop or desktop* you first have to install the Stylus etension ("addon" in Firefox jargon), then create new user stylesheet (override stylesheet) for similarworlds.com, and then witin that stylesheet, you need to add this CSS rule:
div#home-rlvtusrs-scrl {display: none;}
* (I have no idea what people use for browsing on phones or tablets, or if you are still allowed to install extensions ... but whatever alternative you might have on those devices to be able to create a custom override stylesheet, if available, would be your solution)
