Missing a friend.
Hi all. Hope your all doing well.
I don't spend a lot of time here anymore......to be honest, i'm kinda 'over' social media in the main.
Real life is so busy, i've learned to not to become embroiled in added drama online and enjoy peace and quiet in my rare pockets of spare time. A lesson that took years to learn, and caused me lots of ( mostly unnecessary) emotional stresses and worries over situations and people that didn't didn't deserve my time.
Heck....lots of the stuff I was told, the people I thought of were pals ... was all made up, fake.
I tried being a good friend and support others.
I always thought of my online friends as real people with real problems.....but I found out the hard way on more than one occassion that thats not always the case.
Anyway.....the point of this post. Another of my friends here on SW is missing in action and has been since last May. A very fine fellow whom i've corresponded with here for many years. I had no doubts at all this person was anything other than he claimed to be and the last person I thought would ghost me or disappear. ( but hey....i've been wrong on that score before...many times! Lol ) Our correspondense had dwindled a little as reallife situations limited our time here, but his last message to me was upbeat. He has not replied to emails either. I really hope nothing awful has happened to him. 😟
