Thank you SWeeps

I really appreciate your kind words VERY much about my dad in hospice with cancer. Only diagnosed a month ago, it's a rapid cancer. This has been a horrible start to the New Year, and the Superbowl didn't matter to me, the Olympics, or my birthday last week. Nothing matters sometimes and you don't truly notice it day to day. My dad is in such awful pain and it was literally painstaking try to hear what he was trying to say all day but couldn't.
Thank you so much for being wonderful people. I have no support system so getting my thoughts out here has been so helpful. Even though we don't talk regularly, everyone who has commented feels like a real genuine friend. Thank you🩷

I'm sorry for everything you've been going through. I was with my dad when he passed. He was I'll for a long time.
My concern for you is wondering if his after life needs are being taken care of by anyone. That is something I fortunately had help with because his last days came on suddenly. He was coherent until they gave him enough morphine to end his pain.

@Gibbon Aww what did your dad have?
My mom is making arrangements for possibly cremation. And hopefully a service.

@Baybreeze many years earlier he suffered many many blood clots in his brain and colon from a critical heart surgery because his arteries were so clogged. It was his colon that caused his sudden death. After the surgery because of the brain damage he wasn't the same. He was always the strongest one emotionally then he became very sensitive and forgetful. He would cry saying good bye to anyone who visited for about the next ten years. But his long term memory was good. He remembered all the programs he worked on at NASA.
