Did SW recently start a thing where if you are blocked on your main acct...

your alt is blocked even if you do not link accounts? OR do alts get linked by default now?

A couple regular members who blocked me recently also do not show up on my alt.
That hasn't happened before.

I never post from my alt BTW.

My alt will show the accounts I’ve blocked/have been blocked by and they’re not linked. I’ve also had at least one person mysteriously become unblocked from my side when I didn’t unblock them. It all makes zero sense to me.

I'm not sure if it's a new thing, but they can link accounts using the same IP address even if you don't link the accounts.

Social media is doing ANYthing to bring people. I see that desperation on certain youtube channels a lot.

Likely it's the new human verification. It likely checks ip and browser types. Since that is part of profile fingerprint check it automatically joins your accounts.

@Matt85 What also Shows up on an Alt count Are those people that we never see on our primary. It's like a whole different forum.

for me it's like this...if you block this account my linked alt gets blocked too. but after about 3 months my alt acct gets unblocked...so te_.ch_k, ho_t____ow_,abb_yr__de,sojo____ner__ul, nin___t_na, and others who blocked me i can see with my alt

@HoeBag i don't post with my alt either but i'm dying to ask some of them...."hey, why did you block beery?" another reason i don't post with my alt is if i say the wrong thing i don't want my friends blocking it and having this account blocked too

Hmm? A while ago I blocked a troll that had multiple accounts I knew were the same person. The result was all alt accounts were also blocked.

@Ambroseguy80 I do not link my accounts. Supposedly SW is doing it automatically, I do not know. Some people who blocked me on this acct still show up for my alt.

This whole thing on SW just works we*rd.

If Joe has 6 alt accounts, and his alt accounts all have 6 alts of their own, how often will Joe have to seek therapy before he can purge all of his alts and his alts alts.
