Tired but pretty good, how are you
@Cigarguy I'm doing well thank you. I'm glad you're doing good but sorry you're tired.
Cigarguy · M
@onrealityofdreams it's ok sleep is not my friend right now
@Cigarguy Did you make it to Grandma's party?
Cigarguy · M
@onrealityofdreams it's this Saturday and we are still trying to decide what will work best for us.
@Cigarguy Sorry. For some reason I thought it was this past weekend.
Cigarguy · M
@onrealityofdreams no I was just stressing over it way in advance.
@Cigarguy I understand. I do think you should go. As I said it'll be good for Grandma, and it IS her party.
Cigarguy · M
@onrealityofdreams I really don't know. I wish I could talk to her about it but I'd ruin the surprise. Id like to go but I don't want to cause her stress on her special day. I honestly think it'd be better for my partner to go without me
@Cigarguy I understand and appreciate your concern for Grandma and others. However, I think she would love to see you there.
Cigarguy · M
@onrealityofdreams oh this is such a struggle for me. I really hate it. I want to do the right thing but I don't want to embarrass her or my partner. I don't think I could hold my tics and outbursts in for the party.
@Cigarguy She knows about your tics; you won't be an embarrassment to her. Remember you're there for her. Nobody else.
Cigarguy · M
@onrealityofdreams honestly it really depends on if my partner wants me to go. She's his grandma, she raised him and I don't want to do anything to take away from her special day and I really don't want to embarrass him.
@Cigarguy Okay. That makes sense.
Cigarguy · M
@onrealityofdreams it's a huge struggle for me right now. Ugh I hate this so much.
@Cigarguy Talk it over with your partner. Don't overthink it. Just remember you are as important as anyone else.
Cigarguy · M
@onrealityofdreams that is something I still struggle to believe. I'm working on it
@Cigarguy It's one thing for someone to say it, another for you to accept it.
