I keep it secret but have occasionally mentioned to one or two friends, using an anonymous chat-forum without naming it. They all know I don't use Twitfaceapp and their ilk, though...
By corollary I am careful what I post on here, so as not to reveal anything too close to home, and always follow the Golden social-media Rule never to announce future plans such as holidays, or hints as to valued property, in any but the vaguest terms, if at all.
