You get stressed, you dont sleep, it makes you more stressed, you get stressed about being stressed, you don't sleep etc etc. I use alcohol to break that chain. Its not good in the long run. Everyione needs a cause, a project, to focus on, and then tomorrow is always something to look forward to because there will be something to plan for and achieve. Thats why I like gardening.
