For those who don't realize what I am referring to, there is a Notes feature on people's profiles.
I don't use it often, but for people I do not know well (which is almost everyone, as I don't spend a lot of time messaging here) an occasional note helps me remember who said what, or helps me understand what is behind a future post.
I assume that is the intended use of that feature!

People are not static things, you can't say this person is this, or that. People change, people can be persuaded, ideas are always in flux. Your notes may be correct when written, and completely wrong the next day. That is why blocking people is so wrong. Taking notes is a waste of time IMO. (P.S. I may change my mind about this tomorrow).

You've reminded me that I've been meaning to use that "Notes" feature myself, for a handful of people here. I think most of mine will be self-explanatory, though. 🙂

Probably true for a lot of us.

Don't need notes. They are either your friends or not.
Friends you can PM them and that's a permanent record.

Who makes notes on here? This is a website, not a classroom.

🤔🤔🤔Hmmm. Perhaps if you write your notes as math equations you will understand them! 🤣🤣🤣
