I’m just as ornery as I was back then, if not more. I bought an air-horn at Dollar Tree and have used that one several times. Sure gives them something to cuss me out for. And now I ask “Who do you want to speak to?” As though I have a house phone for several people to use. When they don’t give me a name and I continue asking they’ll hang up. Also I act like I don’t understand them and tell them to repeat what they are saying till they hang up.

@NativePortlander1970 I bought one of these off of Temu and it makes all kinds of sounds. Sometimes I do the burping sound. It has a laugh sound but I like the old time laugh boxes better. In junior high one of the boys brought one to our science class and when the teacher, Mr. Porter, had his back turned writing on the chalkboard that boy would sound the laugh box. He did it about 3 different times and the teacher finally told him to stop. The whole class was laughing.
