I need people to talk to. Why is it people only talk through comments? I’m about to delete this. You try to have a conversation with someone and it’s blocked immediately!

You have to find members with similar interests is all.
If you like playing ball as your user name suggests then find some sports enthusiasts on here to chat with.
There are many good members on here but, of course, there are always bad ones as well.
The ones that would block you are the ones that you don't want to have a conversation with anyway.
