What motivates you to use Similar Worlds?

There seems to be lots of self-imposed ignorance of what must have been the original premise, getting people to talk about themselves, their lives, with the view of shared experiences impacting their understanding of life right now......

My immediate observation as a new user.

I think people choose to use the site in a manner that suits them best.

Its like a lot of things that have been designed for a particular purpose, often users find other ways to use them .

-Listerine was once a floor cleaner,
-Clothes pegs are great for keeping plastic food bags closed
- Nearly every western kid has used pipe cleaners in arts and crafts

I dont see it as ignorance to use this site as a diary, or a photo stash, or a fantasty journal, venting to let off steam, jokes to make people laugh, share music...etc.

Plus, some people arent here to be themselves, they are here to escape themselves.

So what is right and what is wrong?🤷‍♀
