I just got home from fishing in a hail storm. Quarter sized hail and I was nearly 2 miles from my truck, standing in a stream..

@Primnproper That hail storm lasted around 20 minutes. Started out BB sized. Then pea sized. When it got to nickel size I figured I better get the heck outa here! 🤣 Quarter sized hail POUNDING for 15 minutes.

@Primnproper No. I just calmly hustled back to my truck. By the time I got there, it was just raining.
By the way, I use barb free hooks on my fishing flies, so the fish are not injured. 🐟
