Which is worse? To be met with hate, or to be met with indifference?

To me, TRUE indifference is worse because a well-intended effort was all for naught.

When I dislike/hate someone I show them indifference. I don't bother with them and treat them as though they don't exist. This is hate to me. Unless they try to hurt me, only then I will react to them. But i will never go out of my way to show my hate to someone in a proactive manner. I think my indifference to them (as they can see I have a different attitude with others) says it loud and clear most of the time.
@BittersweetPotato Yeah, I get that, but you are still thinking about them. 🙂

@NoThanksLeon What do you mean thinking about them? In an obsessive manner ? Of course not. But yea of course I will think about them one way or another, since they are in my surroundings, whether I like it or not.
@BittersweetPotato I think what you are describing is stubbornness, not indifference. 🙂
