Hmmm, I’m not sure I’ve ever deleted someone else’s words or comments.
The things they say are on them, not me….

But I sure do find so many people are quick to delete/block others around here!

I chalk it up to the ‘snowflake movement’ 😉

Once in a while when it's annoying and I'm in a bad mood lol

On my own post I don't recall ever deleting comments. I typically will ignore it and if bad enough...then I will just use my favorite emoji...🖕.

I did the other day delete comments on someone else's post after I was blocked by some jackwagon 😒

I've recently deleted quite a few... all from the same annoying lil person who is now blocked.

I have deleted many especially when the comments seemed rather dull or it felt wrong

If it's extremely crude/contains nudity- I will delete it- if it's being cruel to another person on my thread -I will delete it ,but those are usually the only times and I rarely have.
I will delete my own answer if it makes another person look bad, it is never my intent to make anyone look bad, however.

i very rarely do that. the only times i have done that is with certain users on this site who have deleted my replies in their threads. If they do that with me, they dont get a voice in my threads

Very rarely. I can't even remember what the last time was about and can't think of any reason to do it now, but I have done it maybe once or twice.

I don't recall ever doing that. I've deleted a few of my own comments over the years, but relatively very few.

Not often but when I have a bad mood and someone annoys me even more, I don't dilly-dally about it.

Only if they attack someone else on the post. Thats happened a few times sadly.

I try not to. But when someone is really nasty (which is not the same as disagreeing with me), I have. Last year I posted a memorial to a dear friend here who I was told had passed away. Several people expressed their grief.
Then someone posted,

"Well, if it couldn’t be YOU, she’s a good start !"
I forwarded that post to the admin, but in the meantime a couple of people saw it and posted back in outrage. I blocked the rude poster and deleted the post, explaining to the others what I’d done. I don’t know if that person is still on the site. 😞

I rarely ever post but I can only remember one time I had to when someone was going through a rough time so I made a post to support them and someone else came on being nasty so I deleted their comment

i often delete if i don't like what they wrote, and if they write it again, they get blocked.

I only delete spammers and simps.

I've been on this website all of an hour or so but I can tell you that I am selfish. If a comment does not pass the vibe check, then for my personal satisfaction of an even flowing discussion I might delete your reply. I might even block you. I wouldn't take it personally though.

Almost never. I've had people try to post nudes on posts that aren't for that and harass people on my posts before and that's when I'd do it, but thankfully I don't really ever have to.

Only when they argue and start the name calling I delete them then block

I have had to delete some pretty heinous comments and replies. However, if they remove an honest comment then they abhor truth and facts and their own character should be put into question.
