When you join sites, like SW, do you have rules for yourself that you try to live by?

For example, I don't block people and I don't delete comments on my post, I don't care how vulgar or inappropriate they are. I also don't or at least try not to, resort to personal attacks on people. I have been blocked by about five users and have had several comments deleted, simply for voicing my opinion! To me, that is being a coward. I know I can be a little sarcastic and have humor people don't "get" but I've never been mean spirited or vulgar. Another rule I have is, I will delete your comments if you delete mine! I think that is fair. Do you have rules for yourself?

Sometimes you just have to muffle the noise , or just turn it completely off

There is nothing cowardice about blocking or muting someone...

For me , it's just measured maintenance ..

@BobbyMoeven To me, it depends on the reason for blocking. If someone wants to take part in a discussion involving differing opinions but thinks their's is the only one that matters and they delete all RESPECTFUL but differing opinions, to me, that's being a coward.

I don't over think it ...

I am not here as a vigilante or anything ,

If you are a hindrance to my path here , you are most likely to be muted or blocked ..
