The beautiful beaches

It's like a small town but it's actually a 2nd ring suburb.
They have a week in June that celebrates the town. The Lions put on a pancake breakfast, there's a street dance and a decent sized parade for a suburb twice our size.
At Christmas the fire department tours the whole city with Santa on the truck collecting non perishable food for the food shelf.

It's cheaper, the winter is mild, and I bought a nice house with secluded two acres on a lake, and its a city 😃

Beautiful beaches, year round gardening.

It's small and big enough at the same time. Everything is conveniently close and there are some shops with exotic foods and drinks now so I don't have to shop online for this stuff. I live 5 minutes from the woods.

Surrounded by beaches and mountains...slower paced than eastern Canada. Mild temperatures, etc...

The diversity. There's A large Cult that draws lunatics from all over the world. Some celebrities as well.

It's compact. I can walk to most stuff real easy. So much history here too.

People are friendly and the crime rate is not horrible.
