Personal friendships require a mutually understood level of confidentiality and trust.
The contractual agreements on social sites erased that when they confounded shared communication as shared data.
It's not really possible when an unknown *invisible to either / any "friends* has full access to any communication that originates on a site.
Check with a lawyer if you think I'm wrong.
