How many of you joined SW with an expectation that you might one day meet someone here face to face?
For me it’s a place to shoot the breeze. But for some of you I understand it’s something more?

Like so many on SW I followed the great and necessary migration from The Experience Project in hopes of capturing some of the unique atmosphere of that site. There will never be anything quite like that site again, but I am happy with this one none the less.
I did make some amazing connections in the past and, while I have met people that I have connected with on the internet in person many times over the years it was always without that possibility being an expectation on my part.
Coming to SW I do not anticipate meeting anyone in person, yet I will welcome that eventuality should it be in the cards. I have some hopeful potential in the time I have been here, time will tell.
