SW users when saying Goodbye

CestManan · 46-50, F
Oh gyod yes.

Of course when someone announces they are "leaving" people will say "please don't go" and all these huggy hearts etc.

But then those same people come crawling back like a dog returning to it's own vomit.

When people DO leave a page, usually they fade away instead of some big dramatic departure.

@CestManan Exactly. I like to make a post "I'm back" to be one of the annoying ones on purpose.
CestManan · 46-50, F
@Queendragonfly I imagine you have made a few of those. You seem more settled in though so that is good.

it's too easy to look.
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@originnone And yet here you are!
originnone · 61-69, M

Ikr, they'll be back, one way or another
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@HannahSky It's their faith, and now it's ours too 😐
HannahSky · F
@Queendragonfly I took a couple of vacations, it was good
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@HannahSky I have done it without thinking it was a goodbye. I just wasn't on for a while. I agree it's refreshing. Detoxing is good. Touch more grass and less SW ass. 😂
Same thing with twitter and fuckbook.

@NativePortlander1970 Our goodwills are still cluttered with them.
I am surprised that beyond 2020 or even 2015 that there are still so many VHS out there.
I mean hell even DVD's are out of style. I go to goodwill on any given day and there is this huge selection of DVD players collecting dust.
When I see some fancy DVD player for $15 on the shelf I cannot help but think, "Somebody is probably still paying for this thing on credit."

The cycle of electronics - when new, some people just cannot afford it. When old, junk stores cannot even give it away.
@CestManan I remember the first basic DVD players going north of $1K, now you can get one on Amazon for about $20.

@NativePortlander1970 Probably some real cheapo one but at that price it would be no real loss if it crapped out.
