Why has a well-known user (or should that say "abuser") blocked me when all I did was call him out on an offensive post?

This guy used to be a fun member but now he has stirred up a hornet's nest of trouble. How can I get through to someone like this that such behaviour will never be accepted?

There are people here who have done 180s and suddenly blocked and all one can do is move on. There's damaged people here who cannot resolve conflict in a mature manner. Ain't nobody got time for that.
