Why are some people using this site as their private journal, instead of using LiveJournal or something private?

I do it. I used to use EP. It was an amazing place for that. They got rid of EP and made SW. it’s not the best setup, but it’s still anonymous and it still serves the same purpose well enough. I’ve tried other sites and whatnot and I just didn’t like them. I don’t usually write for feedback. I write for myself generally. Once in a blue moon I may ask a question or something. I just like that I can basically use this site however I want. There ARE some people who judge and seem to think there should be a word limit or it should only be used for this or that…but really, who cares? Lol Everyone can just do their own thing and let everyone else be so long as there’s no harm being done. To each their own! This site was SUPPOSED to be a place people can really talk and be their anonymous self…and somehow it’s become a place people just want to post what they ate for lunch or other senseless nonsense. Lol But again, to each their own! I don’t have to comment on glitter123’s sandwich and no one has to comment on my novel length entries…or even read them for that matter 🤣

Maybe they wanted to get feedback on their post - but got ignored instead... that happens to me quite often, but I accept that I limited myself by posting in Dutch.

I feel like this place is fine for journaling, so long as you accept that people can comment on it

I’m not familiar with LiveJournal, perhaps they’re not either ? And possibly they use everything else from this site.
