What's the most sobering thing you've ever heard someone say?

Listening to a therapist about marriage counseling--and it applied to me:
"Not every marriage can be saved; not every marriage should be saved"

Was like someone throwing a drink in my face.

Obviously the case with my son's marriage.
But damn, that drink in my face woke me up to reality 😒 😳💔
Thing is, she didn't even have the guts to say it face to face. We were 1000 miles away on vacation. 🤷‍♀️
