Did you have any idea what you were signing up for when you first joined SW?

Has it met your expectations, even exceeded them, or failed miserably?

How many times have you deleted your account, and swore to never come back, only to return?

Will you be here a year from now?

I ask because when I look over an old post, I am always struck by how many deleted accounts there are, how many profiles are blank, how many users are no longer here.
Or…maybe I’ve just blocked.
A lot 😳

I’m not a fan of this place, but there’s good people on here. Just one person nice to me on here is more than I’ll see irl. I delete a lot and in a years time I will definitely be on here much less if at all. I’m just stuck in an incredibly boring transition in life.
@BrokenAbyss sometimes I wish my life was a little more boring, or at least calmer. Its so busy right now

Do you have trouble meeting people in real life?
@Ghostinthemachine I don’t meet anyone. I share brief, meaningful exchanges with people when I’m out. It feels good to be kind. But otherwise I’m with my son. If he’s at his dad’s then I go out into nature to find quiet and recharge.

I think finding a good groove would be nice. I’m just not in that position. I have a lot of work to do. And it’s boring and sad, yet I’m lucky because once I’m done I can get to a better place. Just so much work and I’m tired.

@BrokenAbyss I am in the same spot myself.
@BrokenAbyss it’s very important to insure you make time for yourself, to do things you enjoy and make you happy, whether that is with other people or alone. Work is important, but only in that it allows us to do what we want. Life goes by pretty quickly, so you have to a make time to smell the flowers once in awhile
