@helenS Yes. I retired to a rural country farm that is 90% forested, because I love wildlife, forestry, hunting and fishing besides my lifestyle choices, and no neighbors!

I'm a country mouse myself, I live by a small lake which is owned by my family. I am the guardian of the lake. It's a small world, next town's population is <100.
There is a certain narrow-mindedness in town. Not sure if they would welcome a cross dresser.

@helenS Oh, absolutely they would not welcome a cross dresser and that is why I have to maintain a low secret profile. I do not want to end up like Frankenstein with the villagers and their torches and pitchforks after me.
