Why on earth would I use a tiny phone when I got a full sized computer sat in front of me? Just to type 'Hi' cause that's about as much conversation you get outta people on phones using a 'virtual' keyboard. I mean I got a full sized keyboard and can type around 80 words a minute without breaking a sweat. Just a waste of my time and everyone else's using a phone having to watch flipping adverts and stuff.

Next you'll be telling me you enjoy watching all the adverts on you tube and similar worlds cause you just enjoy torturing yourself never mind all the virtual keyboard spelling typos, LOLZ!

Honestly you guys just crack me up using phones at work instead of concentrating on what you should be doing walking around with your face in them 24/7 and then go home and use them hahahaha, JEEZUS, WTF! Wait until you get home login to a full sized computer and have a real conversation with people it's not that hard really.

I mean smartphones are the death of the internet, no surprise people rarely blog anymore, when they just handicapping themselves for no reason whatever site they are using LMAO.🤣

@AdaXI I am only having a laugh as well, I mean I know smart devices are more convenient in many ways, if you just wanna pop on and off a site during the day so is what is, whatever suits you best really. Myself sat at home I'll whack the laptop on cause it's just easier to do more stuff online at the same time I like a concentrated block of online activity with 30-40 tabs open and stuff, lolz.

@AdaXI There was for several months, scaffolding on the front of a shop opposite one my favourite town-centre cafes; in a day-time pedestrian-only street.

The scaffolding occupied the width of the pavement but the poles were padded and yellow-taped.

[ Excuse me a moment while I scroll that ghastly, frenetic, utterly meaningless, fit-inducing video up off the 21-inch monitor... That's better. ]

I would sit people-watching from the cafe, noticing that perhaps a third of the passers-by were utterly absorbed in umpteen-G portable radio-telephones they were too terrified to switch off. Or had forgotten how. Mine would be off and in my pocket - safely too, not hip-pocket thief-bait - or much more likely, left even more safely back at home.

You can guess what I was also watching for, but perhaps their so-called "smart"-'phones had built-in radar or metal-detector, for I never saw it actually happen....

@AdaXI I don't have a "smart"-'phone, just a basic one; but I use a PC for all my Internet use. Naturally, because I also need a proper computer, keyboard, monitor and printer for the more serious uses such as 'Word'. 'Excel' and CAD.

And for ease in finding and printing things like bus and rail timetables - this will shock some of the radio-telephone addicts, but when out and about a printed document is usually the far quicker and easier method, and is not subject to flat batteries or weak signal coverage!.
