I beg to differ. While i do engage in much intellectual debate on here (if you look you can find it), I also think we are, by nature, sexual beings, and society tries to shame us all the time...many of us find this a liberating place where we can kind of anonymously open up and be sexual without worry about our mother or boss yelling at us...and everyone is free to choose what they engage about on here.

I can speak for myself when I say that I get weary of having standard conversations, even if they are deep and meaningful. It feels like the meaning is almost lost anyway as it's fairly uncommon for people to maintain connections. While the subject matter of a conversation might feel meaningful, it seems, from my experience, that it doesn't leave much of a lasting impression. Not to say that sex talk leaves an impression but at least sex talk is consistently enjoyable. Meaningful conversations can be enjoyable but are much less commonly enjoyed on both sides, from my experience. Particularly in situations where people are "starved" of at least affection it can make meaningful conversations feel almost insufficient, particularly when it feels like they don't even afford connection. Just some observations from my own experience.

I must point out to all those throwing their ha'pennies worth of wisdom in that nakedness does not equal sex. And if I'm reading you correctly you're complaining about people hi-jacking serious/sensible threads to talk about sex, which I agree is wrong. But am I a hypocrite? I don't know I'm all about humour more than sex, one I can still do and the other is just laughable.

Maybe it's because the interwebs are full of millions of hours of graphic porn. It's effecting men's minds.

I don't get it either. I mean.... They're trying to get sex from the phone in their hand. What's the point. It's sad and primal

I like to think that I am an intelligent, educated, worldly man, fully capable of effective and stimulating conversation, but then I see a beautiful woman and it all goes out the window. ha.
